More than any other medium, albums allow us to tell stories in a way that is unique. Images that you may pass on for your walls may find their place in an album, quietly and beautifully adding that little something. Take for instance this image. Most would not put a 24x30 of this on their wall. portrait photography | amy durham photography But placed in an album, this image is part of something larger, and it works. custom portrait album | amy durham photography During an portrait review session, I encourage clients to not dismiss images that catch their attention simply because they may not immediately know how they will display it. If you like it, we'll work together to find its rightful place in your home, whether on a wall, in an album or in another fashion. My album design philosophy is to keep it simple, classic and clean. I don't design with individual pages in mind, but with spreads (two pages side by side) to keep the story continuing nicely, and will often use a series that shows movement and action. custom portrait album | amy durham photography The beautiful linen covers -- which come in a variety of colors -- can also be debossed to provide an elegant detail. custom portrait album | amy durham photography custom portrait album | amy durham photography And with strong, quality binding and thick, lay-flat pages, these custom portrait albums are perfect heirlooms that can be passed down for generations. custom portrait album | amy durham photography custom portrait album | amy durham photography Let's set up some time to review your images and design your custom portrait album -- Contact me today!
